At Land van Fluwel

Become a volunteer at Land van Fluwel!

From mid-March to November, we welcome all adventurers to Land van Fluwel to romp around and enjoy offline fun in our adventure paradise. We believe it's important that every guest receives attention in paradise. This starts with a warm welcome, but also extends to clean restrooms and a well-maintained garden. You'll quickly feel welcome within our friendly and hospitable team, and we look forward to meeting you!

What kind of volunteer tasks are there?

The Garden Hero

Land van Fluwel is a beautiful, large, well-maintained adventure paradise with plenty of greenery. Some areas are rugged and wild, while others are neatly pruned and mowed. Our technical staff pays close attention to this. But it's also nice to sometimes tackle something together and divide the tasks. While working, the adventurers run past you, and you can enjoy the many enthusiastic sounds of visitors.

The Poets Champion

The dishwashing area is at the very heart of our kitchen. Surrounded by colleagues who work in the kitchen and the service, you're the one who puts all the clean plates and glasses back in the cupboard. Everything looks spick and span, and when there's a quiet moment, there's always something in the kitchen that needs dusting or a wipe-down. It's a busy place, especially on holidays and vacations, and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

The Hospitality King(in)

A family arrives at the ticket booth, eager to enter. There's so much to see and do that we're happy to explain our park to every guest. This is the first personal contact of the day. On holidays and sunny days, the ticket booth can get very busy, and it's helpful to have several people escorting the adventurers into the park. Later in the day, it's the perfect place to buy ice cream and pack the most beautiful souvenirs.

Poor guide or poor driver

Are you a former bulb grower or do you know everything about bulbs and enjoy sharing this knowledge with tourists? Then you can become a volunteer on the flower bulb tour! During a ride on the flower bulb tour, we'll drive past the bulb fields, offering plenty to see and learn about bulb cultivation. We'll make a stop at Fluwel's show garden and get to see the beauty up close. If you have your tractor license and are comfortable driving a cart, you can also become a driver. You don't have to say a word and can enjoy a wonderful tour with 28 guests on the tour. This is a volunteer position available from early April to early May only.

What do we give back for the volunteer work:

We're incredibly grateful for everyone who wants to volunteer! We provide volunteers with food and drinks, and of course, a friendly work environment. Experienced colleagues are always present to help and guide. We conclude each season with a staff volunteer party. Volunteer compensation is also available upon request. Those happy children's faces are priceless!

Availability

You can indicate how many days a month you'd like to be available and how many hours per day. We'll adjust the times to the tasks you enjoy.
